SUBJECT: COVID-19 FOOD STAMP RECERTIFICATIONS RESUME
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff that Food Stamp (FS) recertifications will be mailed to participants June 15-16, 2020 for cases due to recertify in July 2020.
Due to the FS recertification waiver, which expires in June, cases that were due to recertify in March, April, May, and June 2020 were extended by 6 months. Resuming FS recertifications may generate an increase in phone calls and questions from participants.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
