Medical information must be sent to MRT.Personnel@dss.mo.gov. An MRT decision is always required for new applicants who:
- do not receive disability-based SSI or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) payments or Medicare based on conditions noted above, in a month for which coverage is requested, and
- are not otherwise ineligible based upon any factor other than disability
NOTE: If an applicant is approved for SSDI/SSI during the application process, MRT must still determine medical eligibility for any months he/she is requesting coverage and did not receive a SSDI/SSI payment.
