If incorrect data is entered at application, resulting in the EU not being determined expedited eligible and it is later discovered that expedited service entitlement existed as of the date of application, enter the application date as the date of discovery on the Action Authorization (FM3H) screen. Refer to the SNAP Expedited Service reference guide for assistance.
When expedited service eligibility existing at the time of application is not discovered until the month following the month of the application and verification of an eligibility factor is postponed, authorize the application month’s benefits so the EU may participate within seven days of discovering eligibility for expedited service. Authorize the next month’s benefits within five days after the required verification is provided.
