An individual is ineligible to receive benefits if s/he is a student and does not meet or is not exempt from meeting eligible student criteria. Eligible student status is recorded on the Education/Student Information (FMAJ) screen. FAMIS determines the student is eligible or ineligible based on the worker’s offline determination entered on the screen.
