The Food Stamp case is located in the head of household’s county of residence. If there is also an Adult MO HealthNet case in which one of the spouses is institutionalized and the community spouse is receiving Food Stamp benefits, the case is located in the community spouse’s county of residence.
NOTE: This policy is for counties that do not have special work initiatives approved by the Assistant Deputy Director for Income Maintenance Field Operations. Those counties with approval may continue to keep certain cases (i.e. nursing home cases, etc.) where they are currently located.
