Certify EUs in which all adult members are elderly or disabled with earned income for 12 months. Certify EUs in which all adult members are elderly or disabled with unstable unearned income and unpredictable circumstances from one to 12 months. Certify EUs in which all adult members are elderly or disabled with very stable unearned income for 24 months, provided other circumstances are expected to remain stable. FAMIS sets the certification period for all EUs. Certification periods for EUs in which all adult members are elderly or disabled may be shortened to reflect the EU’s circumstances or situation.
NOTE: All EUs must have a mid-certification review.
