The Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) provides states options on reporting requirements for household changes that occur after an initial or recertification interview. Missouri has selected the option of simplified reporting. All Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) households are subject to the simplified reporting rules. Following the initial or recertification application interview, the only changes required to be reported by the household are:
- gross monthly income exceeding 130% of poverty
- a reduction in the number of hours worked by a participant subject to the 18- through 49-year-old (ABAWD) work requirement (see 1105.035.00 Work Requirement for 18- Through 49-Year-Olds)
- lottery or gambling winnings that are equal to or greater than the resource maximum for elderly/disabled households (1110.005.00 Maximum Resources Allowed)
