1145.025.00 Changing the Disqualification

IM-140 November 30, 2005

On rare occasions, information must be changed during the disqualification period, such as when a court changes the length of a disqualification period but does not end the disqualification. After the appropriate changes are made on the Sanction/ Disqualification (FMAM) screen, FAMIS runs an eligibility determination during the batch process that night and makes any necessary changes if there is an active EU. The disqualified member is sent an FA-601 Claimant Information Notice, notifying the individual of the changes to the disqualification, and the EU is sent an FA-150 Claimant Action Notice, notifying them of the allotment they will receive.
