Income information provided by the Electronic Verification System (EVS) is treated in the same manner as other information that is reported to FSD, and further verification may be required. All standard budgeting and verification processes must still be followed for each individual program. Information provided by the EVS is not verified upon receipt.
NOTE: Information gathered from the EVS for one type of assistance may impact eligibility for other income maintenance programs. For example, income verified for a MO HealthNet case, may also affect the participant’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) case.
If staff question information provided by EVS, additional information or verification may be requested from the applicant or participant.
