For participants who are having MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) coverage explored because they are no longer eligible under a Family MO HealthNet category of assistance, the authorization to verify assets through the Electronic Verification System (EVS) will be obtained when the application or annual renewals forms are signed by the participant, the participant’s spouse, or authorized representative. Refer to manual section 0840.000.00 Annual Renewals and Change in Circumstance for additional information.
Review the new eligibility unit as it may have changed during the ex parte process. Refer to manual section 0110.060.15 Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Authorization to ensure that the appropriate authorization to review EVS sources with Fair Credit Reporting Act requirements has been received.
