Mandatory individuals for the drug screening include individuals who:
- apply for Temporary Assistance (TA) on or after March 4, 2013
- are 18 years or older on the date of application; and
- are the head-of-household
NOTE: Second parents and children are not mandatory individuals. A non-parent caretaker relative (NPCR) is a mandatory individual when they are needy.
NOTE: Refer to 0240.005.15 Cooperation With the Drug Screening Process for those individuals who refuse to cooperate with the screening process.
