Each applicant has the right to withdraw their application at any time. If the applicant chooses to withdraw, accept the applicant’s oral or written statement that they are withdrawing the application.
When an application is voluntarily withdrawn, comment on the EUMEMROL screen the reason for the action and clearly indicate that withdrawal was made at the initiative of the applicant. Provide the applicant with appropriate notice that the application was denied.
