EBT SYSTEM OUTAGE
 
DISCUSSION:
There is an EBT system outage for emergency maintenance scheduled for June 13, 2001, from midnight to 2:00 a.m.  This maintenance requires bringing down part of the EBT system.  Cash transactions cannot be completed while the system is down. 

Manual vouchers for food stamp transactions will be available during this outage.  Transactions, including balance inquiries and voucher authorizations, cannot be processed.  Participants will receive the message "host unavailable" when attempting to complete transactions during this time.

 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff. 
  • Explain the EBT outages to participants who contact the county office regarding the availability of the EBT system.
