DISCUSSION:
Effective immediately, the Cases Requiring Shelter Adjustment Report (Report No. FFSDY625-01) is discontinued.

Continue evaluating shelter changes reported by households and take appropriate action.  Food stamp cases subject to the earned income reporting requirements are adjusted only if the change in shelter cost increases the food stamp benefits.  All other food stamp cases are adjusted as necessary.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
  • Remove Report No. FFSDY625-01 and instructions from the Forms Manual.
  • Continue evaluating shelter changes reported by households and take appropriate action.
