DISCUSSION:
Attached are the revised October 2001 food stamp issuance tables which reflect changes made to the Thrifty Food Plan.  Use the tables to determine October 2001 or later allotments entered on FSU5, FISU or FEX2 after September 24, 2001.

The tables will be put in the online Food Stamp Manual.  A copy has not been printed for caseworkers.  You will be notified when the tables are available online.

Please Note:  The net income maximum for a 3 person noncategorical household is $1220.  However, the last net income at which we issue an allotment is $1183.  This means a 3 person noncategorical household with net income of $1184 or greater is ineligible.  FBCA will indicate the household meets the gross and net income test, but it will show the household ineligible for benefits.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Retain the revised issuance tables as a supplement to the on-line manual.
  • Retain the old tables for use in preparing claim determinations and issuing restored benefits.
