FOOD STAMP ISSUANCE TABLES MANUAL REVISION #34 CHAPTER IX, SECTION IV, APPENDIX B
DISCUSSION:
The October 2002 food stamp issuance tables are on-line.  These tables reflect changes made to the Thrifty Food Plan effective for food stamp benefits issued for the month of October 2002 and thereafter.  Use the updated tables to determine food stamp benefits for October 2002 and thereafter. Please Note:  The net income maximum for a 3 person noncategorical household is $1252.  However, the last net income at which we issue an allotment is $1216.  This means a 3 person noncategorical household with net income of $1217 or greater is ineligible.  FBCA will indicate the household meets the gross and net income test, but it will show the household ineligible for benefits.A printed copy of the tables will not be distributed.  To access the tables on-line:
From the Division of Family Services Employee Intranet page, under "Tools" click on "IM Charts".
Under "Other Food Stamp Charts", click on "Food Stamp Basis of Issuance Tables 2002".
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review memorandum with appropriate staff.

  • Use the on-line tables to determine food stamp benefits for October 2002 and thereafter.

  • Retain the old tables for use in preparing claim determinations and issuing restored benefits.
