IM-18 01/31/03 SUPERCASE ADDRESS CHANGES FOR FAMIS ELIGIBILITY UNITS (EUs)
SUBJECT: |
SUPERCASE ADDRESS CHANGES FOR FAMIS ELIGIBILITY UNITS (EUs) |
DISCUSSION: |
When an Eligibility Unit (EU) moves to
a new address, workers must have a discussion with the EU in order to determine
who has moved from the Supercase address. This is necessary for Supercase
addresses at which more than one EU resides. Do not change the Supercase
address without checking to see if there were other EUs who did not move.
If all EUs in a Supercase move and the new address does not have a Supercase
number (SCN), change the Supercase address on the Supercase Add/Supercase
Transfer (FM0A) screen.
When there is only one EU at an address or when all EUs leave an address, the SCN goes with the last EU, unless the new address is already assigned an SCN. Then, the EU is transferred to the SCN of the new address. Procedures for address changes are outlined in the Change of Address user guide. |
