PADX is used to access information regarding wages reported and/or unemployment compensation (UC) from client's earning outside the State of Missouri.  It is necessary to disconnect the data circuits with other states, as it is no longer cost effective.

Counties that routinely use PADX should develop local procedures to share out of state information.  NOTE: Some states charge for supplying public assistance information, clients should be asked to obtain information from these states or provide it themselves.

• Discontinue use of the PADX system.
• If necessary, develop a local process to obtain out of state information.
• Obsolete the IM-39 form - Request for Employment Security Information - Outside State of Missouri.
• Remove Form IM-39 and IM-39 Instructions from the Income Maintenance Form Manual.
