SUBJECT:
CARS SCREENS
DISCUSSION:
In anticipation of changes to the billing process in the Claims Accounting and Restitution System (CARS), the following changes have been made to all CARS screens displaying this information:
  • AMOUNT OWED is changed to OVERPAID,
  • BILLS SENT fields are removed,
  • BILLING STATUS fields are removed, and
  • LAST BILL field is being added. This field appears on the OVCS screen and will be blank until the changes are completed.
A memorandum will be issued when the new billing process is in place.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff
