FA-543 AND FA-544 REVISION
DISCUSSION:
Effective October 31, 2005, migrant/seasonal farm worker and elderly/disabled EU’s who are subject to change reporting requirements outlined in the Food Stamp Manual, Section 1140.010.00 must report those changes by the 10th day of the month following the month in which the change occurred. The due date for reporting changes is now consistent for all food stamp EUs. At the next contact with non-simplified reporting EUs, advise them they must report changes by the 10th day of the month after the change occurs.
The Food Stamp Manual, Section 1140.010.00 is revised to reflect the change in reporting requirements for non-simplified reporting EUs. It is also revised to reflect changes that have occurred since the implementation of TA into FAMIS.
The FA-543 and FA-544 Change Report forms are renamed the Food Stamp Change Report form. The changes referred to on the Food Stamp Change Report forms are to be reported for food stamps only. Both the FA-543 and FA-544 are revised to notify EUs they are required to report changes by the 10th day of the month following the month in which a change occurs.
