REMOVAL OF THE DEPRIVED OF PARENTAL SUPPORT SCREEN (FM89) FROM THE TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE CONTROL FLOW
DISCUSSION:
Effective Monday, August 15, 2005, the Deprived of Parental Support (FM89) Screen is removed from the FAMIS Temporary Assistance control flow. FAMIS will continue to base eligibility recommendations on financial need.
The Deprived of Parental Support Screen remains accessible in maintenance mode for history purposes. However, no changes will be allowed to the screen. The actions of (A)dd, (U)pdate, and (D)elete will no longer be allowed.
With the removal of the Deprived of Parental Support Screen, the fields that capture the name of the absent parent will no longer be available. Beginning Monday, August 15, 2005, enter the absent parent information on the Assignment/Referral (FM86) Screen as a comment.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Effective August 15, 2005 enter absent parent information as a comment on the Assignment/Referral Screen.
