SUBJECT:
CASE READING REPORT IN MANAGED REPORTING
DISCUSSION:
Effective February 6, 2006, the Case Reading Report is added to Managed Reporting. This report provides management staff with eligibility unit actions for mandatory case reading in the Case Review System. A random sample of approved or rejected actions for food stamp (FS) and Temporary Assistance (TA) eligibility units is displayed. Medicaid actions will be added at a later date.
The Case Reading Report is generated on the first of each month displaying actions taken in the previous calendar month. The report is available for viewing in Managed Reporting on the 2nd day of the month. The January 2006 report is available for viewing on February 6, 2006.
Six actions per caseworker are selected for case reading, including three FS actions, and three TA actions. If there are not three actions for each program available in the report period, the system will generate six actions total.
EXAMPLE: Worker A completed only two TA actions for the report period. The Case Reading Report will show the two TA actions and four FS actions.
Access to the Case Reading Report is assigned by Managed Reporting security level. Each supervisor/manager views the selected actions for individuals in his/her supervisory group.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Use the Case Reading Report in Managed Reporting to view selected case actions for mandatory case reading in the Case Review System.
