RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR FOOD STAMP APPLICATIONS
FOOD STAMP MANUAL REVISION #9: 1105.005.00
DISCUSSION:
Food Stamp Manual section 1105.005.00 has been updated to clarify the residency requirement when an individual requests to apply in a county other than their county of residence.
An applicant may apply in any FSD office in the State of Missouri. If the application is taken in an office other than in the county where the applicant resides, the application is processed as a courtesy application, and then forwarded to the county of residence following policy in section 1120.012.00 FILING AN APPLICATION OUTSIDE COUNTY OF RESIDENCE. The electronic file and paper file are maintained in the county of residence.
