DISCUSSION:
Effective 11/1/2007, income source code VN - VISTA - NOT RECEIVING IM/FS WHEN ENTERED PROGRAM is included income for the Food Stamp Program. This income is still excluded for Temporary Assistance, Child Care, and Family Healthcare programs.
When an individual claims VISTA income, verify the income amount and source and whether the individual was receiving public assistance or food stamp benefits at the time s/he joined VISTA.
Income source code VI - VISTA - RECEIVING IM/FS WHEN ENTERED PROGRAM remains excluded for all FAMIS programs.
The FAMIS Income Code Chart 
has been updated with this information.
