DISCUSSION:

The Food Stamp Manual section discussing the Disaster Food Stamp Program is revised. The sections on Application, Eligibility Determination, and Benefit Security Card and Benefit Issuance are removed. Section 1135.015.00 is renamed Disaster Food Stamp Program and is moved out of the Special Application Procedures section of the manual to 1160.000.00.

Instructions on how to implement the Disaster Food Stamp Program will be provided when a disaster has occurred and the Disaster Food Stamp Program has been authorized by FNS.
