DISCUSSION:
The Change Reported Timely section of the Food Stamp Manual is revised. This revision is to add policy introduced in Income Maintenance Memorandum IM-#144 dated October 27, 2003, and Income Maintenance Memorandum IM-#123 dated October 20, 2005, regarding change reporting. The policy that was added is to define timely change reporting as changes reported by the tenth day of the month after the change occurred:
- A reported change other than a change in source of income is considered timely if it is reported by the tenth day of the month following the month in which the change occurred.
- A change in the source of income is to be reported by the tenth day of the month following the date the first check is received.
