DISCUSSION:
Memorandum IM-63 dated July 2, 2007, introduced upcoming changes due to the signing of Senate Bill 577 by Governor Blunt. The purpose of this memorandum is to discuss submission of medical records to MRT.
Effective immediately, send medical records on all cases when submitting a case to MRT even if the individual is earning over the Substantial and Gainful Activity (SGA) limit. This change is made in anticipation of the TWHA Program.
MRT will be requesting medical information for any cases pending review which did not have medical records included. When the request is received from MRT please take necessary action to obtain the medical records and submit to MRT.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review with all appropriate staff.
- Send medical records to MRT even on cases earning above SGA limit.
- When a request for medical records is received from MRT take necessary action.
