DISCUSSION:
The average private pay nursing care rate is increased from $2,852 to $2,943. Use $2,943 to determine the number of months of ineligibility for vendor level services for applications taken on or after January 1, 2007.
The Average Private Pay rate in the on-line manual, DEC 73 REQUIREMENTS, Section 1040.020.40 Determining the Penalty Period, is updated with the January 1, 2007 rate.
