DISCUSSION:
SNAP policy 1120.025.00 Signing the Application was updated to indicate the Family Support Division (FSD) can now accept a typed signature on an uploaded PDF SNAP application (FS-1) without attestation.
- Attestation is a check box above the signature to submit the application by electronic means.
Applicants who choose to “Apply Online” through mydss.mo.gov still have to check the box above “SIGN HERE:” (attestation), and accept the terms and conditions.
This is a clarification to IM-Memo 104, 2022 regarding allowing electronic signatures for MO HealthNet, Temporary Assistance and SNAP.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
