If returned mail contains a forwarding address:
- Send the returned mail to the electronic file room
- Enter case notes regarding the returned mail
- FSD staff will change the address in the eligibility system
For MWA Contracted Staff
If MWA contracted staff receive notification of new address due to returned mail prior to FSD:
- Send the ‘Change of MO address’ alert to FSD
- Send an electronic copy to FSD at DISTI@dss.mo.gov
- Enter case notes
- FSD staff will change the address in the eligibility system so that the new address is sent to the MWA case management system
- Once the new address shows in the MWA system, the MWA contractor will resend the mail to the new address
