| DISCUSSION: |
| A new income type code is added to FAMIS
for incentive payments. The new code is IP and is defined as Incentive
Payments to Encourage Activity. Use this code when an EU member receives
an incentive payment other than work program incentive payments.
Incentive payments other than work program incentives are included in the food stamp budget as unearned income and excluded for Child Care. An example of an IP type incentive payment would be payments made to participants by Salvation Army to encourage the individual to remain in a drug/alcohol treatment program. |
