Four new sections are added to the pamphlet.  They are:

• Safety First;
• How To Take Care Of Your EBT Card;
• Is Training Available? and
• What Happens If The POS Machine Is Not Working?

• fees are changed;
• instructions to activate the EBT card are removed;
• the address to file a complaint of discrimination is added;
• in the "What Do I Need To Do?" section, the information for the client to call the 800 number to activate the card is removed; and
• the picture of the Missouri EBT card is removed since it is different.

The revised pamphlet (02/03) is being printed and should be available to staff soon.  An initial supply of the new pamphlet is being sent to county offices after printing.  Staff may order an additional supply of the revised pamphlet from the warehouse using normal ordering procedures.

Upon receipt of the revised pamphlet (02/03):

• destroy/recycle all previous versions of the IM-4EBT pamphlet;
• provide a copy of the revised pamphlet to:
• Temporary Assistance applicants/participants using EBT;
• all food stamp applicants/participants; and
• display the pamphlet in areas accessed by clients.

• Discuss this memorandum with appropriate staff.

• Provide a copy of the pamphlet to all applicants/participants and display the pamphlet in areas accessed by clients.

• Order the pamphlet using normal ordering procedures.

• Remove the IM-4EBT pamphlet and instructions (05/99) from the IM Forms Manual and file the revised versions (02/03) in its place.
