The average private pay nursing care rate is increased from $2,625
to $2,685. Use $2,685 to determine the number of months of ineligibility
for vendor level services for applications taken on or after January 1,
2004.
The Average Private Pay rate in the on-line manual, DEC 73 REQUIREMENTS,
Section
1040.020.40
Determining the Penalty Period, is updated with the
January 1, 2004 rate and the rates for the previous three years.
