DISCUSSION:
The following is a clarification of question five regarding Medicare Part D:

5. Will Medicare Part D premiums and co-payments be allowed to meet spenddown?
The Medicare Part D premium will be considered an allowable deduction on the spenddown budget, the same as Medicare Part B and private health insurance.
The co-payments are an allowable expense if the client is responsible for paying the expense.
