SUBJECT:
FAMIS ENTRY OF TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE CHILD IN THE HOME ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT
DISCUSSION:
Effective April 18, 2005, workers will be required to update the supercase residency verification for children in a Temporary Assistance Eligibility Unit. FAMIS populates the verification code field with “CS,” which is not acceptable verification of the child in the home eligibility requirement (Temporary Assistance Manual Section 0205.030.00). Children in a Temporary Assistance Eligibility Unit will PEND for verification of supercase residency.
When child in the home is verified, the worker accesses the Supercase Residency (INHOME /FM0L) screen and updates the child's status to HC (Hard Copy), TC (Telephone Call) or CC (Collateral Contact).
Comments as to how child in the home is verified are recorded on the Eligibility Unit Member Role (EUMEMROL) screen.
