NEW FAMIS PAYMENT STATUS CODE
DISCUSSION:
A new payment status code has been added to FAMIS. The code, “PAI,” appears in the “Status” column of the Payment History (FM5F) screen when a check has been cashed and paid by Central Bank. This code is only applicable to child care and Temporary Assistance payments issued via paper check. The Payment History screen displays “ISS” in the “Status” field until a file has been received from the bank indicating the date in which the check was cashed; at which time the status is updated to “PAI.”
To view information about when a payment is issued and/or paid, select the payment on the Payment History screen and press F16=PAYMAINT to view detailed information.
