CANCEL CLOSED CASES
DISCUSSION:
Effective February 6, 2006, the Cancel Closed Report is added to Managed Reporting on the Intranet. This report provides supervisor/management staff with a list of cases that were cancel closed in the previous month. Security levels for accessing information on Managed Reporting are not changed. Each supervisor/manager views the case actions for individuals in his/her supervisory group.
Supervisory staff will no longer receive the Cancel Closed Report from State Office for resolution. The Cancel Closed Report is now generated on the evening of the first of each month and available for viewing in Managed Reporting on the second day of the month. The January 2006 cancel closed actions report is available for viewing on February 6, 2006.
When the report becomes available each month, download the report and review it to determine whether or not the action to cancel close the case was correct and, if not, take appropriate corrective action.

- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Review each cancel closed case and take appropriate corrective action.
