DISCUSSION:
Due to a suggestion from the Corrective Action Work Group, effective September 17, 2007, an alert is added to the Employment Assessment (FMMS) screen in FAMIS.
If a work registration code for an individual that is sanctioned for METP is being added or updated, the message “Explore sanction and update if needed” appears. This message will alert staff to the sanction so that it can be discussed with the individual at the time the work registration code is changed. After discussion with the individual take appropriate actions based on their current situation.
This change is in addition to and supplements the change introduced in IM-75 08/22/07 CHANGES TO EMPLOYMENT ASSESSMENT SCREEN. If the individual is currently coded 22 with status MNC this will display in the control flow. If the work registration code is then updated, the message to explore the sanction appears.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
