- SUBJECT: MISSOURI WORK ASSISTANCE EXEMPTIONS MANUAL REVISION #01 0285.005.05
DISCUSSION:
This memorandum is to provide updates to the Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) Policy for Service Providers section 0285.005.05 Exemptions. This policy was implemented on December 1, 2016 and MWA contractors were trained in November 2016.
Policy has been revised.
- Revision on where exemption documentation is to be sent for processing.
- Exemption for single parent with child under 12 months revised to 12 weeks.
- Definition of needed in the home to care for disabled individual clarified.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
