CHANGE TO DESCRIPTION OF REAL PROPERTY IN FAMIS AND THE INTERVIEW SUMMARY
DISCUSSION:
Effective July 17, 2005, the description for real property code HS on the Real Property (FMW4) screen is changed from “home and 40 acres” to “home and up to 40 acres.” Use code HS when the EU declares ownership of a home and acreage up to 40 acres. The FA-102 Interview Summary is also changed to print “home and up to 40 acres” when description code HS is selected on the Real Property (FMW4) screen.
Continue to follow the instructions outlined in Memorandum IM-#51, dated May 24, 2005, for entering real property declared by the EU in FAMIS.
