DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to notify staff of the revision of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Match and Safeguard Manual. The manual now reflects current processes and policy to be followed by staff assigned to complete the IRS Matches. A new section was added to the manual 0165.000.05 Incident Response for Unauthorized IRS Disclosures.

- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
